Why I'm Running
|
I first started running for office because I wanted to make a difference in my community and to do something to “give back." I am now in my ninth year on the Township Committee and serving my second year as Mayor. During my time as mayor I have been extremely successful in effecting change and implementing new initiatives – and I now want to take my skills to Trenton as the State Senator for Legislative District 25.
I am an experienced and effective leader who advances solutions to our most urgent issues by bringing all constituencies together to buy into win-win results. I have taken this approach throughout my career in both government and the private sector. Building on the many accomplishments during my time as Mayor, I am committed to working to solve the everyday problems facing New Jersey residents such as keeping taxes stable, controlling over-development, and addressing our deteriorating environment. I will apply my engineering background to help solve problems related to traffic, recycling, and making sure government runs more efficiently for our taxpayers. Lastly, I’m running because we need leaders who prioritize solutions over petty politics and have a singular focus on problem solving in Trenton. I look forward to working together with the residents of LD-25 to improve our community. |
